developed to provide schools with a unique fundraising opportunity.
An opportunity to raise money by reading! READ
to SEE not
only helps to fund vision screenings right in your own school, but 30%of the actual cash proceeds will be returned to the school to help
support the school library!
READ
TO SEE is
designed with simplicity in mind and can easily utilize your
Accelerated Reader (AR) Program already in place. Here are the step
by step basics:
The
school is presented a challenge(determined
by the school)
to earn a specific number of AR points during a designated time
period.
Students are provided with their take home fundraising
materials.
Students pledge to earn a portion of the school’s
challenged AR goals.
Students seek sponsors in support of their AR
goals

Prevent Blindness Mid-Atlantic is the only local
volunteer-based nonprofit organization whose sole
mission is to preserve sight and prevent blindness.
The primary means of accomplishing our mission
since 1957 is through vision screenings
for both children and adults, providing support groups
for seniors, and supplying public and professional education
