READ TO SEE READ TO SEE is a new school based
fundraising initiative that will be available statewide for the
2008/2009 school year. READ TO SEE allows schools to raise money
simply by reading! A portion of the campaign proceeds will support
vision screenings in Virginia’s schools, while 30% of funds raised
are returned directly to the school library for the purchase of new
books and resources!
Prevent Blindness extends a special
thanks to the students, faculty, and staff at Powhatan Elementary
School and Pocahontas Middle School. These schools are leading the
way by kicking off their campaigns this spring. Learn more about READ TO SEE and how your school can participate.
